Little Elkhart Lake

Big bass

The wind seemed to push all the action into the northwest corner of Little Elkhart Lake. I caught 4 this evening — the biggest was a post spawn bass weighing in at almost 3#. I tried a swim bait and a chatter bait, but the only thing that worked for me was a Texas rigged trick worm.

Caught on red trebble hook with shiner in 5 feet of water. Biggest inland fish I've caught.
