Green Spring, West Virginia

My fishing partner John pulled this one in at the C&O Canal in Maryland. Quite a fighter. The location indicater in maps shows north branch of the Potomac River, but look a tad North, fish was caught at C&O Canal Lock 70, about 80 feet West of the lock shown. The water was full of weeds and covered in alge, but the light breeze kept a clear area. John had just bought a new Ugly Stick with 18 lb braided line that we had been using on the Chesapeake Bay in VA bay fishing. #CATCH22
