Caught 6 species today! Walleye, Atlantic Salmon, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Smallmouth Bass, and Rock Bass! The biggest smallmouth of the day was a three pounder and the walleye was about four pounds. Got the salmon on my ultralight rod which made for an incredible acrobatic fight. I’m heading home for PA tomorrow so this was my last outing in New York for a while. What a good one to end this incredible spring on!

Finally got another Walleye tonight! Stayed out until 10pm this time before I got one, this guy was a good 5-6lbs. The salmon were also on fire today and I managed to hook about ten and land five. These salmon have got to be one of the most fun fish to catch up here as they launch themselves four feet into the air about a dozen times during the fight.

Some stud smallies today, still fell short of the 4lb goal though. These two were 3lbs 12oz and 3lbs 4oz. Been trying for walleye nearly every night but I haven’t had any luck in nearly 5 days.

Just a few of the many tanks caught this weekend. Caught about two dozen with all of these breaking 3lbs. The biggest fish of the weekend was a 3lb 13oz smallmouth. I’m really hoping I can break 4lbs soon!

More smallies and a couple stocker brownies today. Only had an hour with the smallies and went for native brookies with no luck. Plan to tough out the rain tomorrow in hopes of that 4 pounder.

Couldn’t catch the elusive 4 pounder today, but I still managed one nice red-eyed stud. In total I caught 5 smallies with one breaking 3lbs. Another big success story: no lost lures today! I thought it was going to be impossible but I finally managed to do it. I did almost lose one to a submerged tree, but after 5 minutes of trying to force it out, I managed to break an entire limb off and retrieve my husky jerk from the depths.

Stud after stud after stud today. Once again, a broken PB by 2 ounces. Today’s biggest came in at 3lbs 14oz. Caught at least 7 three pounders and a nice pike on jerkbaits and swimbaits. The 4 pounder is so close I can taste it.

One of the craziest days of fishing I’ve had in a long time. Caught 3 PB’s today! The first was a new PB Smallmouth that weighed in at 3lbs 12oz, breaking Saturdays PB by 2oz. The next PB was a 4lb white sucker that ate my x-rap on the pause. After having tons of success with 5 smallmouth over three pounds and landing my 4th biggest pike at 27 inches, I ended the night with yet another personal best. Yet again, it was a white sucker that ate my x-rap, coming in at a whopping 6lbs. I don’t know much about the white sucker run, but I am very surprised that these things are biting 4 inch jerkbaits.
